From Our President Thank you for your interest in the First Nevada Unit of the National Association of Parliamentarians.
We hope you found the meeting informative and that you learned something new about Parliamentary Procedure.
Our Unit believes first and foremost that Parliamentary Procedures, like the Constitution, help insure that while majority rules, the voice of the individual is given the opportunity to persuade others to their way of thinking.
We hold monthly meetings every fourth Thursday at 11:30 am in Reno, Nevada. Our unit currently serves the Northern Nevada area and includes members from Reno, Sparks, Lovelock, Carson City, Incline Village, McCarran, and Virginia City. While we encourage your membership in the National Association of Parliamentarians, and will assist you in studying to take the membership exam, we do not require it.
